Lobularia Purple is also known as Purple Sweet Alyssum. It is a wonderful multi-season plant that if hardened off, can be planted in early spring when temperatures are changing. It features fragrant, violet-purple, star-shaped blooms and gray-green foliage from July to September that attract bees, butterflies and hummingbirds.
Purple Sweet Alyssum thrives in full sun in fertile, organically rich, consistently moist, well-drained soils. It will not tolerate soggy soil.
