Happidaze® Sweetgum ('Hapdell') is a nearly seedless variety that allows for more options in plant placement. Same fantastic pyramidal habit as the native Sweetgum but with no mess. This variety has outstanding burgundy fall color instead of a mix of colors.
The Happidaze® Sweetgum is a relatively low maintenance tree that deer do not particularly like. It enjoys full sun in average to moist conditions - it should not be allowed to dry out. It is somewhat tolerant of urban pollution and will do well provided it gets the room it needs to grow and thrive.
