Leucanthemum superbum Sweet Daisy® Birdy is a cheerful, award-winning take on the classic Shasta Daisy that brings a fresh, modern energy to summer borders. It is prized for its massive, pure white flowers that feature a unique "shaggy" or crested appearance, thanks to a dense double row of petals surrounding a warm yellow center. Its blooms are exceptionally large for the series, often reaching 5 inches across, and they sit atop sturdy, upright stems that resist flopping even during heavy summer rains. The deep green, lance-shaped foliage remains compact and mounded, providing a lush base that highlights the brilliant white of the flowers from early to late summer.
