AMAZING DAISIES™ SPUN SILK SHASTA DAISY
Leucanthemum superbum 'Spun Silk' ('Spun Silk' Shasta Daisy) is a unique and elegant Shasta Daisy cultivar celebrated for its intricate flower form and long bloom time. It features 3-4-inch pure white flowers that have narrow, finely fringed petals which give the bloom a delicate, almost "spider-like" or "spun silk" texture. These unique flowers add wonderful texture to the garden.
Spun Silk Shasta Daisy has an upright, medium-sized habit, growing to a height and spread of 18-24 inches. It is a long-blooming variety, with cheery flowers appearing from late spring through late summer. It is an excellent choice for adding texture to mixed borders and is highly valued as a cut flower. 'Spun Silk' performs best in full sun and requires well-drained soil to thrive.
