REALFOR® SPOONFUL OF SUGAR SHASTA DAISY
Leucanthemum superbum 'Spoonful of Sugar' (Spoonful of Sugar Shasta Daisy) is a distinctive and highly attractive Shasta Daisy cultivar known for combining extra-large flowers with a remarkably compact, mounding habit. The main feature is the enormous 4 to 5-inch flowers which have a double row of long, creamy-white ray petals surrounding a bright yellow center. These blooms give it a lush, full appearance, almost like a cushion chrysanthemum. The flowers are held tightly against the dense, attractive dark green foliage, maintaining a very tidy, dome-like shape.
Spoonful of Sugar Shasta Daisy reaches a mature height of 15-18 inches and a spread of 24-30 inches, making it an excellent choice for borders, mass planting, or patio containers. 'Spoonful of Sugar' is a free-flowering and reblooming variety, providing a long season of color from early to mid-summer with a second flush following the initial bloom wave. It requires full sun and well-drained soil.
