SNOWCAP SHASTA DAISY
Leucanthemum 'Snowcap' (Snowcap Shasta Daisy) is a popular and reliable dwarf Shasta Daisy, highly valued for its compact, uniform habit and profuse flowering. It produces an abundance of large (up to 4 inches), classic single white daisy flowers with a bright golden yellow center disk. The blooms sit atop stiff, resilient stems that are notably weather-resistant, making the plant less prone to flopping than taller varieties.
'Snowcap' has a compact, mounding habit, typically reaching a height of 15-18 inches and a spread of 18-24 inches. It offers a long blooming season from early to late summer (June through September). This cultivar is an excellent choice for containers, small gardens, front borders, and is highly effective in mass plantings due to its consistent height. It thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, and once established, is reliably drought-tolerant and resistant to deer and rabbits.
