The Golden Candle Golden Rain Tree is a very showy columnar accent tree that features profuse large, bright yellow panicles of golden flowers at the very tip of the branches in early summer. The Golden Candle is perfect for small spaces as its spread is just 3-4 feet. Serrated pinnately compound leaves turn vivid gold in fall. Furrowed silver bark adds to winter interest.
The Golden Candle Golden Rain Tree thrives in full sun and is adaptable to both dry and moist conditions. It is considered drought-tolerant once established. It is highly tolerant to both urban pollution and salt and will thrive in inner city environments.
