SPARTAN UPRIGHT JUNIPER

Juniperus chinensis 'Spartan' is commonly referred to as Spartan Chinese Juniper. It is a fast-growing, narrow, pyramidal to columnar, evergreen tree with dense and dark green, scale-like foliage that stays attractive year round.

Spartan Juniper thrives in full sun in average, sandy, well-drained soils. It does not tolerate standing water. It can be drought tolerant once established. This popular, low maintenance Juniper requires no pruning and is ideal for creating a fantastic vertical accent in the landscape. It is perfect for hedges and windbreaks.
