DAUBS FROSTED JUNIPER
Juniperus x pfitzeriana 'Daub's Frosted is commonly referred to as Daub's Frosted Juniper. It is a hybrid that includes certain cultivars that are crosses between Juniperus chinensis and Juniperus sabina. This group is also known as the Pfitzer Group. Daub's Frosted Juniper is a fast-growing, groundcover evergreen shrub that features a showy two-tone look with emerging golden yellow, frosted, soft-textured foliage tips along with its older growth which matures bluish-green.
Daub's Frosted Juniper thrives in full sun in average, well-drained soils. It is tolerant of a wide variety of soils including clay. It will not tolerate wet soils. It will provide a dramatic look and makes an excellent focal point in foundations or in borders.

These evergreen shrubs are incredibly durable and heat-tolerant, though they require consistent water during the first season until the root system is well established; thereafter, they are notably drought-tolerant.
Prune as needed in late winter or early spring to manage size or remove dead wood, but avoid aggressive shearing that exposes the inner woody stems. Apply a layer of organic mulch around the root zone to conserve moisture and suppress weeds, taking care to keep the material a few inches away from the crown to prevent stem rot.
