To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining soil in a location that receives full sun to partial shade. Water regularly until established; once mature, this variety is adaptable and reasonably drought-tolerant. Prune in late winter or early spring to shape and encourage strong new growth, as this plant flowers on "new wood."
