Hydrangea x 'SMHMES14' PP25836, Proven Winners® Color Choice® Let's Dance® Rhythmic Blue® is commonly referred to as Let's Dance® Rhythmic Blue® Hydrangea. This Proven Winners® Color Choice® selection is easy-to-grow and does not need pruning. It does extremely well in colder climates (Zone 5A). Its flower color is dependent on the soil pH (bluer/violet in acidic soils or pink tones in alkaline soils). It is a continuous bloom or rebloom variety that will bloom and look fantastic well into fall, aging to a soft mauve color.
Rhythmic Blue® Hydrangea is salt tolerant and thrives in partial sun and dappled shade in rich, fertile, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It blooms on old and new wood. It is best not to trim or cut back but only remove dead wood in early spring.
