LETS DANCE® RAVE® BIGLEAF HYDRANGE

Hydrangea macrophylla 'SMNHMSIGMA' PP26929 Proven Winners® Color Choice® Let's Dance® Rave® is commonly referred to as Let's Dance® Rave® Hydrangea. This Proven Winners® Color Choice® selection is part of the Let's Dance® collection. It features reblooming, mophead flowers of deep violet-blue in acidic soils and a saturated magenta pink in more alkaline soils. The addition of aluminum sulfate to the soil will encourage lavender and blue colors and adding lime will produce pink and magenta flowers. The flowers of Rave® have out-performed on all levels and are one of the very best rebloomers that have been introduced!

Let's Dance® Rave® Hydrangea thrives in part sun in rich, fertile, evenly moist, well-drained soils. Its glossy, green foliage is disease resistant and has proven hardiness in areas with shorter summers.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining, rich soil protected from the hot afternoon sun. For pink and blue Hydrangea macrophylla varieties, bloom color is pH-dependent; keep soil slightly acidic for blue tones or adjust toward neutral for pink. White varieties remain stable regardless of pH. Water consistently to maintain soil moisture, as this variety is sensitive to drying out. Mulch around the base to keep roots cool and moist.
