It is part of the Proven Winners® Color Choice® Let's Dance® collection with improved hardiness and great salt tolerance. It features large mophead flowers that change from pink to blue depending on the soil's pH (more blue/violet in acidic soils). It is a continuous bloom or rebloom.

Big Band® Hydrangea thrives in filtered sun in rich, fertile, evenly moist soils. Morning sun and filtered afternoon sun is most beneficial.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining, rich soil protected from the hot afternoon sun. For pink and blue Hydrangea macrophylla varieties, bloom color is pH-dependent; keep soil slightly acidic for blue tones or adjust toward neutral for pink. White varieties remain stable regardless of pH. Water consistently to maintain soil moisture, as this variety is sensitive to drying out. Mulch around the base to keep roots cool and moist.
