INVINCIBELLE® SPIRIT II HYDRANGEA

Hydrangea arborescens 'NCHA2' PP28316 Proven Winners® Color Choice® Invincibelle® Spirit II is commonly referred to as Invincibelle® Spirit II Smooth Hydrangea. It is a new and improved version of the original Annabelle Hydrangea. This Proven Winners® Color Choice® Invincibelle® selection features larger flowers with darker foliage and stronger stems. Its a strong rebloomer, with dark pink buds that open to hot pink flowers which then turn soft pink as they mature, finally changing to green at the end of their life cycle.

Invincibelle® Spirit II Hydrangea thrives in full to partial sun in rich, fertile, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It is hardy down to Zone 3 and blooms on current season's growth (new wood). It benefits from cutting the stems back about one-third its total height each spring, just before the new growth emerges. New shoots will emerge and bloom the same summer.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining soil with a slightly acidic pH. Water regularly, but avoid overwatering. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Prune in late winter or early spring to maintain shape and promote healthy growth.
