Hibiscus syriacus 'Notwoodone' PP12619 is commonly referred to as Lavender Chiffon® Rose of Sharon or Lavender Chiffon® Hibiscus. It is a Proven Winners® Color Choice® selection that features large, double blooms of light lavender with a lacy center and reddish eye. The foliage is dark green with scalloped edges and is deer resistant.
Lavender Chiffon® Rose of Sharon is heat and drought tolerant and thrives in full to partial sun in rich, fertile, evenly moist, well-drained soils. A nice bonus of Hibiscus syriacus cultivars is the ability to manipulate them into a tree shape for a more formal architectural feature.
