Summerific® Lilac Crush PPAF is commonly referred to as Lilac Crush Rose Mallow. This selection is part of the Summerific® series of Hibiscus with large, tropical-looking flowers with long bloom times, from mid summer to well into fall. These showy perennials have the largest flowers of any perennial with buds appearing up the stems, not just at the top like older varieties. Summerific® varieties have an upright, full, columnar habit and are very hardy - all the way down to Zone 4!
Lilac Crush Hibiscus is a Proven Winners® selection that features showy lilac flowers - rare among hardy hibiscus. Maple-like leaves provide a rich green contrast. It thrives in full sun in rich, evenly moist, well-drained soil. Perfect for end of season color!
