Lava Lamp Coral Bells is a villosa hybrid which is noteworthy for its late blooming habit that has an increased tolerance of high heat and humidity. Coral Bells are a low-maintenance perennial that blend well with most perennials and have a low, mounding habit.
Lava Lamp Coral Bells prefer partial shade and well-drained, moist rich soil. They do not tolerate clay or acidic soils. You can cut back their flower stalks in fall to direct energy into their foliage.
