HERCULES CORAL BELLS
Heuchera 'Hercules', a standout Coral Bells hybrid aptly named for its strong growth and robust appearance. 'Hercules' boasts magnificent, heavily marbled foliage that features striking splashes of creamy white against a rich green background, providing stable, all-season interest that lights up shadier areas. This vigorous perennial creates a handsome, mounded clump and is crowned in late spring to mid-summer by vibrant, deep scarlet red flowers that attract hummingbirds.
Extremely versatile, 'Hercules' Hosta is hardy in USDA Zones 4-9 and thrives best when planted in partial shade - morning sun is fine but protect it from harsh afternoon heat to prevent scorch. To ensure success, plant it in fertile, moist, well-drained soil (no soggy soils!) and keep the soil consistently moist, particularly during hot, dry periods. Maintenance is simple: remove spent flower spikes to keep the plant tidy and apply mulch annually to prevent the crown from lifting out of the ground over time. Easy care and beautiful!
