FYRE WING™ RHODONITE CORAL BELLS

Heuchera Fyre Wing™ 'Rhodonite' brings a spectacular dynamic shift to shade gardens with its intricate, multi-toned lace foliage. As part of Terra Nova's groundbreaking lace-leaf breeding line, 'Rhodonite' features deeply cut, feathery leaves that showcase an unusual shifting color palette of rose, violet, purple, and warm copper. The dense foliage emerges a bright rosy copper in spring, developing layers of pink and silver undertones throughout the summer before deepening to rich purple hues by autumn. Forming a tight, mounded footprint roughly 12-15 inches tall and 6-12 inches wide, 'Rhodonite' pairs its vibrant, chameleon-like foliage with small white blossoms that rise on delicate stems in late spring.

Heuchera Fyre Wing™ 'Rhodonite' thrives best in partial shade or dappled light, though it can handle full sun in northern zones provided the ground remains consistently moist. It requires rich, organic, well-draining soil; like other coral bells, it does not tolerate soggy roots or sitting water, which can quickly invite crown rot. Thanks to its medium-small, compact habit and eye-catching color shifts, 'Rhodonite' excels as a visual "thriller" in mixed container arrangements, a high-contrast accent along shaded garden pathways, or a colorful blender in perennial borders.
