Zone: 4DEW DROPS CORAL BELLS
Looking for a truly unique splash of color? Heuchera 'Dew Drops' offers an exceptional foliage display unlike any other Coral Bell. Its compact, mounding leaves feature a bluish-green base that appears to be irregularly splashed or painted with creamy white mottling, mimicking the look of morning dew. Adding to the artistry, the veins often blush a striking pink or reddish-purple as the season progresses. To cap off the show, delicate wands of bright coral-red flowers rise above the foliage in late spring and early summer, attracting hummingbirds and butterflies.
Perfect for containers, edging, or lighting up a shady border, this deer-resistant, semi-evergreen perennial brings multi-season texture and color to any garden space.
Coral bells are a great low-maintenance perennial and are easy to take care of. They blend well with most perennials and have a low, mounding habit that is perfect for container gardens and tucked between other plants in a shaded garden. They prefer partial shade and well-drained, moist, rich soil. They do not tolerate clay or acidic soils. You can cut back their flower stalks in fall to direct energy into their foliage.
