BERRY SMOOTHIE CORAL BELLS
Heuchera 'Berry Smoothie' PP21871 is more commonly known as Berry Smoothie Coral Bells. This eye-catching perennial boasts dazzling, color-shifting foliage that delivers season-long drama. Emerging in spring as a vibrant raspberry pink or berry red, the large, lobed, and heavily ruffled leaves deepen throughout the summer to a rich, luminous mahogany-purple or plum hue. This dense, mounding plant typically reaches 15-18 inches tall with a similar spread, and in summer, it produces delicate sprays of light pinkish-white flowers on tall, slender stems.
'Berry Smoothie' maintains its semi-evergreen foliage through winter and performs best in part shade (avoiding harsh afternoon sun) and moist, well-drained soil, making it a spectacular choice for containers, front-of-the-border planting, and adding year-round color to shaded areas.
