Helleborus 'Rome in Red' (Hellebore) is commonly referred to as Rome in Red Lenten Rose. This showy, vigorous selection is a member of the Honeymooon series that blooms in late winter with single, wine red cupped flowers on sturdy stems that contrast well with its glossy, dark green, leathery evergreen leaves.
Rome in Red Lenten Rose is easy to grow and low maintenance. It thrives in part to full shade in fertile, humus-rich, moist, well-drained soils. Ideal for border or mass plantings, container or cut flowers. Trim the old leaves to the ground in late winter to provide maximum flower impact in the months ahead.
