Grower Notes:

Helleborus x ballardiae 'Mahogany Snow' 'COSEH 930' PPAF is more commonly known as Mahogany Snow Christmas Rose. It is part of the HGC® collection. The HGC® stands for Helleborus Gold Collection® and is a variety of Christmas Rose that are hardy, low-maintenance Helleborus that start flowering as early as November. These plants continue to produce flowers throughout the winter season unlike the Lenten Rose which flower late winter to early spring.

Mahogany Snow blooms in winter with outward-facing white flowers with strong pink backsides to the petals. It thrives in full to partial shade in organically rich, evenly moist, well-drained soils.
