Helleborus WINTER JEWELS™ 'Black Diamond' is commonly referred to as Black Diamond Lenten Rose. This showy evergreen perennial features dramatic dark purple single flowers that mature to black from late winter to early spring. Its dark green foliage complements its attractive blooms.
WINTER JEWELS™ Black Diamond Lenten Rose has excellent resistance to deer and rabbits. It thrives in filtered sun to shade in average, evenly moist, well-drained soils. Black Diamond does not tolerate standing water. It is ideal as a border plant or woodland area.
