Helianthus 'Sunshine Daydream' is commonly referred to as Sunshine Daydream Perennial Sunflowers. This perennial hybrid is part of the Garden Candy™ series and is a sport of Helianthus 'Capenoch Star'. It features golden yellow double blooms that resemble a dahlia. It flowers from late summer through fall.
Sunshine Daydream Helianthus thrives in full sun in organically rich, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It can be drought tolerant once established.
