Gymnocladus dioicus 'J.C. McDaniel' Prairie Titan™ is commonly referred to as Prairie Titan™ Kentucky Coffee Tree. It is a large, seedless (male), deciduous tree with an upright, spreading habit with bluish green foliage that turns yellow in fall. In early summer flowers grow in greenish-white pendulous panicles. Its bark is scale-like and ridged and provide great winter interest.
Prairie Titan™ Kentucky Coffee Tree thrives in full sun in average, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It is quite tolerant of different soils and environmental conditions. It can be drought tolerant once established and does well in urban environments.
