Gymnocladus dioicus 'McKBranched' Decaf® is commonly referred to as the Decaf® Kentucky Coffeetree. This unique sport of the native Kentucky Coffeetree exhibits consistently improved branching. It produces buds and branches from new growth which creates a more desirable, well-branched tree at a young age. Emerging leaflets show caramel coloration into early summer. In fall, foliage turns an attractive golden yellow.
The Decaf® produces male flowers so no mess with seeds! It is ideal along driveways or any spot that needs a beauitful, low-maintenance, fast growing shade tree with excellent branching without the mess.
