IMPERIAL HONEYLOCUST
The Imperial Honeylocust is a thornless, rounded, deciduous tree. Its green leaves are attractive and fernlike with numerous small leaflets. In fall, its tiny leaves turn an attractive yellow, and cleanup is a breeze thanks to the breeze.
The Imperial is very tolerant of dry and compacted soil and can handle both excess moist and drought on occasion. It enjoys full sun and average, well-drained soil.
