JADE BUTTERFLIES MAIDENHAIR TREE
Ginkgo biloba 'Jade Butterflies' is commonly referred to as Jade Butterflies Ginkgo. It is a densely branched, vase-shaped, dwarf Ginkgo that grows slow and is perfect for smaller spaces. This fruitless male Ginkgo cultivar has inconspicuous yellow-green catkins in mid-spring and attractive fan-shaped green leaves (said to resemble green butterflies) that turn a showy golden yellow in fall.
Jade Butterflies Ginkgo thrives in full sun in slightly sandy, well-drained soils. It is deer resistant, tolerant of urban pollution, and can thrive in city environments.
