Gaura lindheimeri Gaudi™ Red ('Florgaure') PP26,518 is commonly known as Gaudi™ Red Wand Flower. It is part of the Gaudi™ series that is noteworthy for its compact, well-branched habit with dark foliage in cooler temperatures, making it a perfect container plant. Gaudi™ Red has dark green mounding foliage with short spikes of deep rose-red flowers all through summer. Best to remove spent flower spikes to prolong bloom.
Gaudi™ Red Wand Flower is heat and drought tolerant and thrives in full sun in sandy, loamy, evenly moist, well-drained soils.
