FAGUS SYL PURPUREA PENDULA
Grower Notes:

Fagus sylvatica 'Purpurea Pendula' is commonly known as the Purple Weeping European Beech. It is a dense, irregular, spreading tree with long weeping, purple-leaved branches that reach to the ground. It has no central leader so it will require staking to establish vertical growth. Leaves are elliptical, wavy-edged and a rich purple color.

The Purple Weeping Beech thrives in full to part sun in evenly moist, rich, well-drained soils. This selection will require much room to grow and thrive. It will make a great specimen plant for an area that can handle it.
