GREEN WEEPING BEECH

Fagus Sylvatica 'Pendula' is commonly known as the Weeping European Beech. This large, deciduous tree is a wide, weeping cultivar that typically grows 35-50 feet tall and 20-40 feet wide. Branches normally grow up and then sweep downward to the ground in a graceful fashion. Foliage is dark green throughout summer and can form a very dense canopy with leaves and branch structure. This majestic cultivar will outgrow small spaces so will not tolerate city environments. It is one of the finest specimens for large-scale landscapes.
