SULPHUREUM BISHOPS HAT
Epimedium x versicolor 'Sulphureum' is commonly known as Sulphureum Barrenwort or Bishops Hat. This is an attractive ground cover for the shade garden. It is low-growing with semi-evergreen with bronze-green mounding foliage that turns red in fall. Early spring yellow blooms held on long, wiry stems.
Sulphureum Barrenwort thrives in full shade in nutrient-rich, well-drained soil. Epimediums are one of the few plants capable of surviving in dry shade.
