CRIMSON RED BISHOPS HAT
Epimedium x rubrum is commonly known as Red Barrenwort. It is one of the best Epimediums on the market. It features yellow and red miniature columbine-type flowers in early spring that are held on wiry stems above bronze tinted, green heart-shaped foliage. It is a tough and vigorous ground cover for the shade garden.
Red Barrenwort thrives in full shade in organically rich, well-drained soils. Epimediums are one of the few plants capable of surviving in dry shade.

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in a location with partial shade, and well-draining soil with a slightly acidic pH. Water regularly, but avoid overwatering. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds.
