CONE-FECTIONS™ HOT PAPAYA CONEFLOWER
CONE-FECTIONS™ Echinacea purpurea 'Hot Papaya' PPAF is commonly referred to as Hot Papaya Coneflower. It is part of the Cone-Fections™ collection and features sizzling red-orange pom-pom flowers surrounded by a row of papaya-orange petals on strong stems. Flowers hold their color through the growing season from mid-summer to late summer.
Coneflowers are an eye-catching and popular perennial for many reasons. They are easy to grow and are heat and drought tolerant. They flower all summer and attract all kinds of birds and pollinators. They typically thrive in full sun, but if your summers are hot then they could use a bit more shade and water to prevent burning.
