It has a well-branched, upright habit with sturdy flowering stems which are perfect for cut flower displays. It flowers from early to late summer and into autumn if it is kind.
Adobe Orange Coneflower thrives in full sun in average, dry to medium moisture, well-drained soil.
Coneflowers are an eye-catching and popular perennial for many reasons. They are easy to grow and are heat and drought tolerant. They flower all summer and attract all kinds of birds and pollinators. They typically thrive in full sun, but if your summers are hotter than Hades then they could use a bit more shade and water to prevent burning. Deadhead to extend bloom time.
