Echibeckia™ Summerina® Sizzling Sunset PPAF ('ET RDB 621') is commonly referred to as Sizzling Sunset™ Echibeckia™. The Echibeckia™ genus is a cross between Rudbeckia and Echinacea with blooms similar to Rudbeckia but with the hardiness of Echinacea. The Sizzling Sunset™ is part of the SUMMERINA® collection which features great disease resistance and a plethora of long-blooming yellow and red bicolor flowers with orange eyes and cones. Borne singly on sturdy stems, flowers make a showy cut flower display. It has a very compact, upright, mounding habit and a fast growth rate.
Sizzling Sunset™ Echibeckia™ is easy to grow and requires little care. It enjoys full sun in organically rich, moist, well-drained soil, but can be drought tolerant once established. Ideal for containers or massed in beds, borders and foundation plantings.
