CAMELOT ROSE FOXGLOVE

Digitalis purpurea 'Camelot Rose' is commonly referred to as Camelot Rose Common Foxglove. This biennial, short-lived perennial features showy, colorful spikes of deep rose speckled, funnel-shaped blooms on sturdy stems. Non-stop blooms from early summer to midsummer and can even produce secondary flower spikes to extend its bloom time for weeks. It is noteworthy for its uniform growth and reliable first-year flowering.

Camelot Rose Foxglove is deer and rabbit resistant and thrives in partial sun in humus-rich, evenly moist, well-draining soils. It is perfect for woodland areas and other naturalized areas with dappled sun. Word of caution: It is highly toxic by ingestion for humans and animals.
