FRINGED BLEEDING HEART
Dicentra eximia 'Luxuriant' is commonly referred to as Luxuriant Fern-Leaf Bleeding Heart. This everblooming, compact, herbaceous perennial features cherry red blooms over fern-like foliage. It blooms over a long season that extends from late spring to early fall. Flowers hang gracefully above the ferny foliage mound.
Luxuriant Bleeding Heart thrives in partial shade and enjoys organically rich, fertile, moist, well-draining sols. It will tolerate more sun so long as the soil is kept consistently moist. It is ideal for beds, borders, banks and slopes.
