EVERBLOOM™ WATERMELON ICE BORDER PINKS

Dianthus EverBloom™ 'Watermelon Ice' is commonly referred to as Watermelon Ice Dianthus. It is a member of the EverBloom™ series featuring light pink fragrant blooms with a white picotee edge. This alpine type carnation blooms continuously from early summer through fall attracting bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators. Deadheading spent flowers encourages more blooms. It has a densely branched habit with short flower stems and silvery blue-green grassy foliage.

Watermelon Ice Dianthus thrives in full sun in organically rich, evenly moist, well-draining soils that have a 5.5 to 6.2 pH. They are deer and disease resistant and are perfect for rock gardens as they make a great spreading groundcover.
