WHETMAN® SCENT FIRST™ ROMANCE PINKS


Dianthus Whetman® 'Scent First® Romance' PP21843 ('Wp09 Wen04') is commonly referred to as Romance Dianthus. This lovely, easy to grow evergreen perennial features spicy fragrant, salmon-pink, frilly double blooms adorned with a carmine blush eye. Flowers appear in late spring and will continue through summer with regular deadheading. Flowers are held on short, stout stems above a cushion of blue-green, grassy foliage.

Romance Dianthus thrives in full sun to partial shade in neutral to slightly alkaline, well-draining soils. It is part of the Whetman® Scent First® series of Dianthus, and bred by Whetman® Pinks, the UK's leading breeder and propagator of award-winning perfumed Dianthus known for their excellent Dianthus breeding.

Planting Tips
