PAINT THE TOWN FUCHSIA PINKS

Paint the Town Fuchsia Dianthus hybrid PP28636 is commonly referred to as Paint the Town Fuchsia Pinks or Dianthus. This showy perennial is part of the Proven Winners® Paint the Town® series of vibrant, low-growing perennials that produce outstanding color throughout the season, and are prized for their increased heat tolerance. Paint the Town Fuchsia is one of the earliest Dianthus to bloom and features fragrant, single fuchsia flowers that appear in early summer. A bit of shearing will encourage rebloom in the late summer and early fall. Its blue glaucous blue foliage sets it apart from other Dianthus of this type.

Paint the Town Fuchsia Dianthus thrives in full sun to partial shade in neutral to slightly alkaline, well-drained soils. It is ideal in beds, borders, rock gardens and containers.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining soil with a slightly acidic pH. Water regularly, but avoid overwatering. Provide full sun and deadhead spent blooms to encourage more flowering. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds.
