Dianthus Whetman® Star Single® 'Eastern Star' is commonly referred to as Eastern Star Cheddar Pinks. It is part of the Whetman® Star Single® series of Dianthus. It features large, velvety red flowers that have dark red centers. Blue-green foliage has a spicy fragrance.
Eastern Star Dianthus thrives in morning sun and afternoon shade. It enjoys evenly moist, well-draining, neutral to alkaline soils.
