Dianthus 'Appleblossom Burst' from the Pretty Poppers%#174 series is a compact perennial known for its heavy spring-to-summer display of semi-double, frilled blossoms that feature soft blush-pink petals with vibrant magenta centers. Held neatly above a mounding cushion of blue-green evergreen foliage, the fragrant, clove-scented flowers attract butterflies and bees while offering natural resistance to deer and rabbits. Reaching 9 to 12 inches tall and 15 to 18 inches wide, its sturdy stems, drought tolerance, and neat habit make it an ideal choice for formal borders, rock gardens, and low-maintenance container plantings.
'Appleblossom Burst' Dianthus thrives in a location that receives full sun to promote dense foliage and maximum bloom production.
