YUKI KABUKI® DEUTZIA

Deutzia 'NCDX3' PP36667 Proven Winners® Color Choice® Yuki Kabuki® is more commonly known as Yuki Kabuki® Deutzia. This Proven Winners® Color Choice® selection features tiny pink and white flower clusters in spring that completely cover the plant and attract bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators. Medium green foliage has a low, mounding habit and fits nicely among perennials and other shrubs in a mixed border. Leaves turn a showy deep burgundy in fall providing additional interest.

Yuki Kabuki® Deutzia thrives in part shade to full sun in rich, moist, well-drained soils. It can be drought tolerant once it is established.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining soil with full sun to partial shade (more sun equals more flowers). Water regularly during the first growing season. Prune immediately after the spring flowering period to maintain shape and encourage dense growth; avoid pruning in late winter or early spring, as this will remove the flower buds for the coming season.
