Winter King Green Hawthorn is a popular tree that is noted for its clusters of white flowers that bloom in May. Flowers give way to small red fruits that become ripe in September and persist into winter. In Autumn dark green leaves age to an attractive purple-scarlet. In winter, mature silver bark exfoliates to reveal orange inner bark.
