WAIKIKI ELEPHANT EAR
Colocasia esculenta 'Waikiki' is commonly referred to as Waikiki Elephant Ear. This showy tropical selection constantly changes color. Corrugated leaves emerge green with a dark back and develop their white veins and purple dot as they grow. The purple dot gradually expands into white veins that then turns purple.
Waikiki Elephant Ear thrives in partial sun in organically rich, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It can be grown indoors or outside just so long as it does not dry out. It truly is one of those tropicals where you have to see it to believe it.
