WISSELLS SAGUARO CYPRESS
Chamaecyparis lawsoniana 'Wissel's Saguaro' is commonly referred to as Wissel's Saguaro Lawson Cypress. It is a moderately fast growing, narrow upright selection of Lawson cypress with fastigiate branching that can twist and produce arms that resemble the Saguaro cactus. Such a unique look with its thick, contorted, and unique foliage! It can reach close to 6 feet in roughly 10 years.
The Wissel's Saguaro Lawson Cypress enjoys full sun, but it can tolerate a bit less as long as it grows in moist, slightly acidic, well-drained soils. It will not tolerate dry or alkaline soils.

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Water it regularly, but avoid overwatering. Provide a slightly acidic soil pH, around 6.0. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Prune it annually to maintain shape and promote healthy growth.
