JADE WAVES® FERNSPRAY FALSECYPRESS
Chamaecyparis obtusa 'MonYur' PP29,503 Jade Waves® is a superior selection of Hinoki False Cypress also known by its trademarked name, Jade Waves® Fernspray False Cypress. It boasts a naturally dense, compact, and uniform pyramidal habit, which requires minimal pruning to maintain its elegant shape. Its most striking feature is its gracefully curved, fern-like sprays of foliage. The leaves are rich dark green, with lighter green tips, creating a dynamic texture and visual interest.
Jade Waves® thrives in full sun to partial shade. For the best foliage color and density, it is recommended to provide at least six hours of direct sunlight per day. It is a highly tolerant plant and can even thrive in urban environments with higher pollution. It enjoys fertile, evenly moist, well-drained soil that is neutral to acidic. Avoid planting in heavy clay or areas that remain consistently wet, as this can lead to root rot.
Its unique form and texture lend themselves well to a variety of garden styles, from traditional landscapes to modern and Zen gardens.
