RISING SUN REDBUD
The Rising Sun Redbud is a deciduous tree that likes to show off! In spring, showy magenta, pea-like flowers cluster along bare branches. Flowers give way to apricot-orange, heart-shaped new growth and vibrant yellow summer foliage speckled with lime green. New leaves appear alongside old which provide a continual mix of colors through summer. As summer fades, the foliage turns shades of yellow and orange. This drought and heat resistant cultivar also has smooth, tan bark which adds to its winter interest. Truly a remarkable Redbud.
